Located 150 kms North of Melbourne Airport, Brecon House is only a 90 minute drive by car via the Hume and Goulburn Valley Freeways to Murchison.

Murchison is a great place to stay for a good night's rest before heading on your way North.

Most of the journey is on Freeway/Expressway/Motorway. Travelling North from Melbourne via the Hume Freeway, take the Shepparton exit (which is eight [8] km after the first Seymour exit). Travel through Nagambie (or around it if you stay on the Freeway - which is due to be completed late 2011), and follow the signs to Murchison.

Travelling South from Sydney via the Hume freeway, turn right onto the A345 at Violet Town (following signs for Murchison and Bendigo).

From Melbourne you can travel directly into Murchison by train or bus - so it's a great weekend getaway without the car.

Murchison is also a great place to stay for a good night's rest before heading south into busy Melbourne or going overseas from the airport.
